what’s happened to Gendergeek? They haven’t updated the site since June, and now it seems to have disappeared.

I got the impression they were both getting increasingly busy in their lives outside the world of blogging and they also had a very bad troll problem for a while, which I do wonder may have demoralised them a bit. I do wish they’d said goodbye though. There’s something unsettling about a blog just going silent because you can’t help but wonder if something bad has happened.

Thanks Winter. I agree it’s unsettling – when you read someone’s site regularly you feel like you know them in real life, and it’s easy to forget that you don’t. I hope Emma and Emmy are both OK.
